Musette SF Blackletter
Musette SF Blackletter
This simple, open-top shoulder bag is inspired by the traditional "feed bags" once used to supply bicycle riders with food and water during long-distance endurance races. The cheap canvas musette has since become the "schwag bag" of choice for Bike To Work Day events. We bring you a stylish alternative, made with the same passion, craft and quality we invest in all Rickshaw products, featuring our fabulous fabrics and custom graphics -- without all of the corporate logos.
Our all-over print in "Blackletter" script was designed by our founder, Mark, and executed by his son Spencer, who is studying graphic design in college. Blackletter traces it's roots to 12th-century Western Europe, when it was used to hand-illuminate manuscripts. The term Gothic was later used to describe this script in 15th-century Italy, during the Renaissance, as it was regarded as a "barbaric" letterform by the intellectuals at the time. Connect with your inner-savage with our barbaric Blackletter Musette.
