I love my sleeve. I would love it 5 stars if it was a small fraction of an inch wider at the opening. This would make the iPad with a smart cover on it slide in just a little easier.

I just wanted to mention a couple things concerning the iPad Air sleeve. I actually returned mine because I'm considering selling my iPad Air. It seamed to be a nice product. It's just the right fit for the iPad Air. I had a cocern with shipping. The item arrived loose in a pretty flimsy box. The sleeve was fairly wrinkled on the bottom left corner and top. I'd like to see the item shipped in a more protected manner. Maybe sealed in a plastic bag and a slightly more padded box. I know you guys do good work but maybe the means of shipping could be improved. Thank you. Have a good day.

Love my customized iPad Air sleeve!

Looks: The Earl Grey tweed is beautiful, and I love that it's a recycled material. I do wish there was a binding that more closely matched the brown in the tweed, but it's close enough.

Size: The website says that the iPad Air with the cover on will fit in the sleeve...mmm, yes and no. It will fit, but it takes a lot of tugging and jiggling, and the cover usually gets pulled off in the process. But I like that even without the cover, the fit is so snug that the device won't fall out and both sides will be protected during my frequent travels. I figure I'll just carry the cover separately when I travel and put it back on when I need a stand.

Functionality: I got this mostly for travel because Apple only makes a full case for the Air in leather, which I refuse to buy. I wanted to protect both the screen AND the back, and this sleeve does just that. It's slim enough to fit anywhere, the lining is super-soft and will protect my device well and it's a great conversation starter—"Hey, where did you get that?" (Points at sleeve.)

Customer Service: The product was ready when they said it would be, and it shipped promptly. When I emailed the company with a question about a different order, I got a very quick, courteous, helpful response. Overall, I'm very happy with my Rickshaw experience and purchase!

This sleeve is a great way to store my iPad when traveling. I use a smart cover (protects screen only) and needed something for transporting the device. This works very well. With the smart cover on, I can still slide the device into the sleeve - it takes a bit of a push, but goes in fine with no real difficulty. The fit is tight enough that I don't have to worry about it sliding out. I will say that, if you don't have a smart cover, the fit may be a bit too loose as it is possible for the iPad to slide out when holding the sleeve upside down.

I really would have liked a case with a zipper on it to ensure complete closure, but I could find nothing available that was made specifically for the iPad Air. This case is made for the Air and, therefore, has worked out well.

A bonus is that you can fold the sleeve in half and lean the iPad against it in a propped up position (either in portrait or landscape mode) for reading or watching videos on an airplane seat tray.
