Pros: Attractive
Cons: Difficult to use, Too Small, Uncomfortable

I own several Timbuktu bags as well as a custom Nike bag purchased when Rickshaw's founder worked there. I am disappointed in the Rickshaw bag. It is closer in size to a small than a medium. It is significantly smaller than a medium timbuktu bag or my medium Nike bag, it barely holds my shoes, tshirt and shorts for a workout. The strap is not long enough for wearing over the shoulder comfortably (I'm a pretty big guy). The nylon the bag is made from is thin in comparison to my other bags. My wife took a tour of your factory for a fashion design class and suggested that I try one of your bags since I had several other messenger type bags. As previously indicated I am not thrilled with my decision.

Bags were too small since it cinched on the bottom. the strap a also uncomfortable.... there should be some padding lining the back of the bag and the strap

I was really excited to get my bag after seeing a deal for it on fab.com, as the regular price for the bags are really expensive. However, after finally ordering the bag, it took a week for my tracking number to get emailed to me, as they actually forgot about my order. Extremely turned off, I didn't even bother caring anymore about the bag, as I was really hyped up to get it, only to be forgotten and neglected as a customer. For a local company, there is terrible customer service.

Regardless, once the bag came, I was ecstatic, mainly because my order wasn't lost. However once actually transferring things from my backpack to my Rickshaw bag, I realized that there really isn't that much space. Another thing was that there aren't really any pockets; they cost extra for me to buy, and I didn't, which made the bag almost unusable. I had to put my Macbook air in between two heavy books and I'm not sure how protected that is. Another thing is that the bag gets really bulky and uncomfortable once I actually put things in it. The only time I enjoyed using the bag was when all I had in it was my Bike U-lock, and an extra shirt. But for daily use, this bag is not very effective.

I really wish that I could change the color of the strap as well, as the black with the rest of the colors doesn't work out. I don't think I'll get another Rickshaw Bag, as it's highly mediocre for the cost, and is not as customizable as other custom bag sites online.

Sorry, just telling it how it is. Never buying another Rickshaw again.

Thought of giving this bag a try because of the rave reviews found online. I wasn't disappointed. The bag offered space and the fact that it was customizable (without any extra charges imposed) is of course very appealing. I only wished it was just a tad more sturdy and structured although that would probably compromise on weight. All in, I will recommend the bag.
