Pros: Attractive, Spacious
Cons: Heavy

This is clearly a terrific bag. The construction is superb and it looks almost elegant. It holds and holds almost anything you would want. It can be an overnight bag too. I want to own it because it's so honorable a product. BUT be sure you want something this big and heavy (3.5 pounds is more than you might imagine). I think the weight is worth it because the bag is so well built and because it stands up on its own, but using it as your constant bag -- the one you take everywhere, trail, mall, movies -- is a problem because it's big.

I dream of the "one bag" but it doesn't exist. This is one of the bags you need.

I love my bag and the customization process. The magnetic straps are surprisingly effective, even when I load the bag with my laptop and other stuff (i.e. don't need to close clasps to keep the bag closed). The adjustable strap clasp is also very well thought-out. I would recommend Rickshaw to everyone.

And...my wife and I love the Annie Galvin bags!

cheers,

John

This is a fantastic bag and I am happy I bought it. I ordered the custom version with a black body and the high-tech sailcloth fabric cover in black. The first thing I noticed about the bag is how well it was put together: the material used was tough and rugged, and the stitching was extremely robust. I liked the fact that the bag will stand upright even when it s empty. This makes loading the bag very easy. In addition, the way the top flap folds back to aid accessing the bag is really well thought out. The magnetic strips that silence the velcro closures work quite well. I wish they were used in the interior laptop case as well. The laptop sleeve fits my 11" Macbook Air very well with room to stuff in a Kindle Fire. There are plenty of interior pockets for organizing or storing and the strap is very comfortable with great (fast) adjustability.

I've bought a lot of commuter bags over the years and I've finally found one that doesn't frustrate me. This bag is nice and sturdy. It holds its shape well and it's great not having that ripping velcro sound. It's comfortable to handle on the shoulders and the handle strap doesn't hurt your hand. It's heavy, but that's because you'll be able to store what you want in it. The only thing is, I wish it had an external water bottle holder. And as, a female, I wish bags wound come with thinner straps.

Pros: Attractive, Comfortable, Easy to use, Lightweight, Spacious
Cons: No waterbottle compartment

Honestly, probably the best bag I have ever purchased. Deep, spacious, strong lining. The only gripe I have is that there is no water bottle holder on the side.
