Bag is great ... seems to carry the right amount for a day at work.
Laptop sleeve should be selectable when purchasing the bag (13in or 15in). It only seems selectable if you explicitly contact Rickshaw about it.
Could be a little better for carrying drinks e.g. portable coffee mug or water bottle, and/or lunch box.
Main criticism is with the order process for the customisable bag - the photos on the order page did not match the twitter photo in the workshop. I ended up getting a lighter colour bag than what I wanted.
Tried to respond to Rickshaw about this but with no effect. It's impractical for me to send it back from Australia, so I'll just get used to it and move on.
I also think that you should advertise/push your accessories on the order page e.g. phone holder. For those of us where shipping is an impost, this would encourage more purchases (e.g. phone case).
All in all though, an excellent bag.

Really great, somewhat bulkier than I expected, but great nevertheless

I did a lot of research and had many contenders on the list, but this is the one that won out. This is an awesome bag. I'd give it 4.5 stars if I could. The only drawback is that the side pockets are about .5 inch too small for my 20 oz water bottle. It fits, but it's a struggle when I have my laptop (13" MacBook Air) in my bag. So, a half star for that half inch missing from what is otherwise and incredibly thoughtful design. This is my first Rickshaw, but I may just be a customer for life.
I had such a difficult time deciding what bag to purchase, the Commuter 2.1 or the TImbuk2 Commute one. I finally decided on the RS Commuter. It arrived and was beautiful. The qualify is great. After 10 months of using it, I decided to buy the Timbuk2 one. I'm very bummed, but as much as I love the RS one, I miss things like a water bottle storage on the side and a bag that is TSA friendly since I'm on the road a lot. If those don't matter to you, you will be so happy with the Rick Shaw commuter.
