Pre order the new Backpack 2.0!

Meet our Backpack 2.0. Now Now available for you to pre-order shipping August 20th! With stowable shoulder straps, messenger strap, and removable laptop sleeve it's a versatile pack that holds a ton of stuff. We mean tons. We've given the Backpack a design tune-up since it's 2009 TED Conference review and here's what's new:

1. - By popular demand, we added mesh water bottle pockets to the side panels -- good for water bottles and all kinds of stuff.
2. - Inside each water bottle pocket, you'll also find a small slash pocket for quick access to your passport, pens, phone, etc.
3. - Larger front pocket, for more stuff.
4. - New waterproof material on the bottom -- looks better and doesn't get "dusty".
5. - New waterproof liner -- still PVC-free (of course!) and light gray in color -- replacing our shiny liner with a lovely matt finish.
6. - New shoulder straps, for added comfort.
7. - New metal hardware for shoulder strap attachment -- we just got tired of the traditional plastic j-clips, and though these looked classier (and they don't squeak).
8. - Two sizes -- the same big one, and a new skinny version.

2.0 Commuter is coming - really soon!

As you may have noticed, we've been "sold out" of our commuter computer briefcase and for several months. We sold more than we expected during the last holiday season - in fact, we sold all we had -- but we had already embarked on a series of design changes for a "2.0" release this year. Rather than make more of the 1.0 version, we've been working diligently to finish the new version.

We plan to be back in stock by June. the design changes aren't radical, but they're numerous. Here a a few highlights:

• A single size for 13-inch and 15-inch computers (the 1.0 small and medium will now be one bag).
   
• Built-in mesh side water bottle pockets
   
• Larger front pockets
   
• new wipe-clean gray lining material
   
• New Waterproof boot material
   
New metal shoulder strap hardware

We hope you will enjoy the updated bags and when you see one - we know you'll think it was worth the wait.

Rickshaw Heads North to Seattle!

Rickshaw heads north to the Seattle Bike Expo. This is the largest consumer bicycle show in the nation!

We've made some cool bags in special colorways specifically for the show.

Plus, we'll have a raffle for a special surprise you can use on St. Patrick's Day!
