About ZERO:
The Zero platform is specially designed to optimize fabric cutting and reduce manufacturing waste. A holistic approach uniting minimalist design, localized sourcing and minimal waste manufacturing, the Zero is made using domestically sourced materials thereby shortening the raw material supply chain and reducing its ecological footprint. To facilitate recycling, this bag is made entirely of nylon. The result is elegantly simple and functional.
A Functional Approach:
We've designed an innovative accessory system designed to work seamlessly with our Zero Messenger Bag family. Continuing our philosophy of minimal, sustainable design, each bag has three strips of velcro designed to hold accessories that can add function to your bag. We believe your bag should adapt, and our accessory system allows you to easily change your bag's configuration. Here's our full line of interchangeable velcro accessories, and we're steadily working on more.

Cordura® brand nylon is the classic “backpack” fabric used for durable packs and messenger bags for over thirty years. The fabric is woven in the United States, is extremely durable, machine washable and should last you a lifetime.

This bag is the perfect size for me! I'm a 5'6" female and often carry around a lot of stuff. This bag fits everything really well and doesn't feel bulky and overloaded when it's full, which is especially nice on public transportation. I'm excited to try it out with my bike in the spring!

My Medium Zero is everything I'd hoped! I replaced a stylish pink purse with this equally stylish but far more functional pink bag for schlepping my laptop and work. My back is thanking me! I love the front pockets for easy access to water bottle, sunglasses, umbrella and wallet. And the removable drop pocket has been LIFE CHANGING -- I keep purse essentials in here so I can easily transfer it to a smaller bag. I will say that for the purposes of traveling I wish I had a Large Zero (maybe a future purchase?). Once my 13" laptop/sleeve and gear are in here and the front pockets are full there's very little room left inside for anything substantial (like Harry Potter book #7). Ideal for everyday use, consider going bigger if you want a carryon. And for the less experienced messenger bag user, there was a bit of a learning curve figuring out how to adjust the strap and take it on and off.

Being a small girl, I have to have the shoulder strap set to almost as small as it will go. This unfortunately causes the clip to dig into my shoulder. I ordered a shoulder pad along with the bag, however since the clip falls on my shoulder this isn't much use. Possible solution - have a pad that fits over the clip or have the strap in two different default lengths.

The medium Zero Messenger Bag is outstanding. Mine is customized with Marigold tweed, Saffron interior, and Mandarin binding. It looks fabulous and it's just the right size. I can fit my laptop and iPad in the Richshaw laptop sleeve and it attaches super easy inside the bag. I've still got more than enough room for other things like bicycle mags, a power supply, glasses, keys, and a drop pocket. The bag sits well on my back and doesn't slide around even without a cross strap. I think the tweed fabric has more grip than the cordura. Rickshaw made a great and they did it in the US. You can't beat that.

This is a great bag. I got it in the grey-ish Tweed--pretty attractive and looks good with almost everything. The fits all my stuff, while keeping everything easily accessible. The wide strap makes it very comfortable. I highly recommend getting drop pocket for wallet, keys, pens, ID card.
