This was exactly the type of bag I needed. I am able to safely store my iPad. I can see everything contrasted against the yellow background inside the bag. The closure keeps everything safe and sound inside the messenger bag. When I am sitting at a table, I can flip the top of the case inside the pocket and have a secure reading stand. I bought a custom iPad Messenger Bag for my boyfriend for his birthday, and he loves it. The bag arrived just as I had ordered it, although I did notice that some of the colors were a little bit different than they had appeared on the website. Nothing drastic, and it's something that I chalk up to viewing it on the internet as opposed to seeing the fabrics in real life. It fits the iPad great and is super light-weight, which is awesome. It's small enough that you don't feel encumbered by it, but is large enough to hold the iPad plus a water bottle, some books and some folders, as well as keys and a phone. The only complaint that I have about it is that when it arrived, the tweed fabric had a little tiny pull in it on the bag. BF decided that it wasn't worth returning it for, but it was something that their QA didn't notice.

Overall, he loves the bag and it totally serves its purpose. He prefers it to his Timbuk2 bag that he has that is larger.

I've gotten many compliments on the bag and love that it was made in the US. It is the perfect size for my iPad. The only criticism that I would have is that I wish the strap could be adjusted to be used on the same shoulder as the side it is carried.

Over the last month, the iPad Messenger has proved to be the perfect bag for daily use. I'm a teacher, and I was looking for a bag I could wear to work and around town. The Performance Tweed is awesome and looks even better in person than it does online. The build quality of this bag is outstanding. The stitching is the best I've seen--better even than on my Timbuk2 custom bags. Most bags are too large, and I end up carrying around things I don't really need. This bag holds my iPad, an external keyboard, an 18 ounce water bottle, a small coffee thermos, several books, pens, cards, and chargers for my iPad and iPhone. I added the waterproof liner, which has already served me well through several downpours, and I added the Deluxe Drop Pocket, which has also been excellent--without the pocket I would've had a harder time organizing the bag. In all, an excellent bag.

What a beautiful and efficient way to make sure your iPad and other gear is always near! Comfortable, stylish, well-organized. When my daughter saw mine she was impressed and struck by a pang of envy. "I should get one of those as a birthday present--for me!" The deluxe drop pocket and smartphone case are two extras that make it a perfectly-appointed life organizer. And I probably should try the strap pad too, because my only complaint is that the shoulder strap is made of a slick polymer and slides around too much on my shoulder (though that won't be a problem when wearing fall and winter clothing). Kudos to Rickshaw for their faith in human power and American workers.
