If I am headed to a meeting and don't want to shlep around a big bag, the folio is the perfect compromise. I slip my cell phone into the compartment, make sure that I have a pen to take notes on my moleskin notebook, and walk out the door! I love it and definitely recommend it to people on the go. It is also compact enough that I can put it into my bag if I need to carry other materials.

I really like this folio, I usually stuff it in my bag when I go places. I keep my journal and a few pens inside along with scraps of whatever I find or need in the pockets. Overall I really enjoy the functionality of the project, I just wish it was a tiny bit smaller so it would fit more easily into my small Zero bag.

It holds a ton of stuff, and for my wife (a freelance writer), it's great for always having the ability to jot down notes whenever they come up. The only downside - and I admit I should have checked the dimensions first - is that in the photo this looks like a small smartphone case with some extra pockets. It's not. It's bigger than that. Certainly big enough that it doesn't fit in a pocket. It does fit in all but the smallest purses or a messenger bag, though. Just be aware that when it says it hold a smartphone, that doesn't mean it's an alternative to a typical iPhone skin or similar pocket case.
