This bag is not only very handsome, but also perfect for biking with your laptop. The built-in laptop case is great, and velcros in. I really like that you can use the magnetic latches, and swap out the clips or velcro so that it's easy to swing it around and grab something out of. I prefer riding with a backpack style messenger bag, and this one is very comfortable and light. Definitely an ideal bag as long as you don't have too much stuff to carry, in that case I would recommend going with the larger backpack.

I've had this bag for a year now, and it looks like I bought it yesterday. I use it every day as an attache for work, and it's held up extremely well. I've gotten many compliments on the look, and I can fit a laptop, iPad, cell phone, water bottle, journal, pens, keys, lots of papers with room to spare. It sits very comfortably on my back, unlike other bags; my only complaint is that the bag weight shifts pretty noticeably while riding a bike--but otherwise, it's the perfect commuter bag: roomy, sharp looking, and durable.

I've always got a lot of stuff to carry so a normal purse just doesn't cut it for me. I was tired of spending $30-$50 every few months on a poor-quality messenger bag and decided to do some research in to high-quality bags that I wouldn't need to replace. I hoped to go with an independent company and I was impressed with Rickshaw's quality and company goals. I got the customized skinny backpack and I was a little worried because it looked so... well... skinny. But, I can carry my nook tablet, my husband's tablet, and my work laptop in it, and there's still room to spare for typical everyday "purse junk".

Since I try to commute using public transit as often as possible, I have to navigate through crowds all the time. On a jammed bus, a backpack is more convenient for me but on a busy subway platform I prefer to have a messenger bag. Problem solved. I am a chronically disorganized person and on more than one occasion, an important paper has found itself folded up in the depths of a cavernous messenger bag. This bag is built to stand up and the main compartment is tall enough for notebooks and folders. Couldn't be happier!

Bag does not sit well on back, top of back tends to be further away from the back then the bottom part as a resut of how the shoulder straps are fixed to the bag (position s too low). Functional design of bag is very positive.
