I've owned more than a dozen bags over the past twenty years or so and every single one has fallen-short of being the perfect bag. Not so with my Rickshaw Commuter 2.0 - it is perfect in every way!!
Prior to my Rickshaw I was using a backpack for my laptop and the assorted stuff I carried with it. While I liked the way the Commuter 2.0 bag looked I was definitely skeptical about it's ability to hold as much as I routinely carry.
Just to be clear - I carry a lot of stuff:
A Dell laptop
An iPad
A Bluetooth keyboard (for the iPad)
A Mi-Fi Hub
A couple of pairs of headphones
Mints, aspirin, green tea, packs of Starbuck's Via coffee
Chargers for all my stuff (laptop, iPad. iPhone and Mi-Fi hub)
Business and Hotel, Rental Car and Airline membership cards
Pens, Highlighters and a Stylus or two
A leather portfolio
At least a couple of magazines (to read during the 'no electronic devices' black-out on planes
A pair of sunglasses
A Brita filtered water bottle
(and additional stuff that I'm sure I'm forgetting)
My Commuter 2.0 arrived, I pulled everything out of my backpack (which I never really cared for) and began, still very skeptically putting it everything into it. To say I was amazed is an understatement! Everything fit perfectly - with room to spare! I have to admit that I modded the bag slightly, by carefully removing the stitching on the pen organizer on the right-side of the outside pocket (how many pens do normal people carry anyway?!), so the space now allows for a little more storage, but it accommodated everything.
All-in-all this is the perfect bag! It holds everything I need it to, it's comfortable to wear, it fits under an airplane seat and it looks great! I opted for pretty mainstream colors for the bag and flap, but had camo fabric used on the trim, which looks pretty damn cool.
As you can see I'm one happy customer. I'd highly recommend a Rickshaw Commuter 2.0 bag to anyone who needs to travel with a laptop. Thanks Rickshaw!

Extremely high quality material and attention to detail. I had a problem with the cross strap anchor coming loose, but I shipped it back and it was fixed.
The pencil holders in the back isn't nearly the problem I thought it would be.
Not a lot of ways to organize small items.

Overall, I love the bag. It was an adjustment at first, coming from a more conventional laptop briefcase, though as I've lived with the Rickshaw bag I've been liking it more and more. It is my first choice for the daily commute to and from my office in downtown Pittsburgh. It gives plenty of protection to my laptop and has room inside for my notebook, power supply, and computer accessories. Not a huge amount of room for files etc., but I have been getting by. Like the two zippered outside pockets, they have a lot of room for the easy-to-misplace smaller stuff.
I do go back to my Briggs and Riley "TSA-approved" briefcase for air travel, however -- the Rickshaw bag is not "check-through" and I have to take the laptop out for security check.
I think it might be improved with a second non-zippered outside pocket. I'm always coming home with my hands full and need someplace to stash magazines and mail for a few minutes until I get upstairs -- when I zip the stuff in the outside pocket I tend to forget about it. And, maybe a small zipped pen holder on the front panel.
But overall the durability and solid construction of the bag more than makes up for the few features that I wish it had.

Super bag, high quality, great appearance. Just started with my 150000 miles of travel per year, but seems as if it will be a nice traveller. The only small down side is that I experienced the upper corners of the bag not wrapping over properly and rain was allowed inside the bag. This may have been due the stiffness of a new bag or operator error by not cinching the flap completely. I am a total,gear hound and travel with MacBook pro, iPad, iPod, external hdd, various adaptors and cords. All,of my gear fits with room to spare. The workmanship is excellent and the customer service is stellar.
