This special edition City Tote debuted at Behance's 99% creative conference an annual event exploring how great ideas happen, whose name is inspired by the Thomas Edison quotation, "Genius in 1% inspiration, and 99% perspiration." Perfect for the digital mininmalist who needs the Action Method™ and a 13" MacBook Air to go, this special edition "City Tote" is simple, stylish, and versatile

Sized to fit the Action Journal, new iPad or 13" MacBook Air. The bag features a simple snap closure, tote handles, velcro for our accessory system, and a messenger style strap that easily stows inside the bag.

About The City Tote:

We wanted to create a bag inspired by the city, with the versatility of a tote, the functionality of a messenger and we thought there's no better place to debut it then at the 99% design conference in New York. A sophisticated bag with a long slim aesthetic that perfectly fits a 13" MacBook Air, iPad or Action Journal, the new Rickshaw "City Tote" is simple, stylish, versatile, and customizable.

A Functional Approach:

We've designed an innovative accessory system designed to work seamlessly with our City Tote family. Continuing our philosophy of minimal, sustainable design, each bag has a strip of velcro designed to hold accessories that can add function to your bag. We believe your bag should adapt, and our accessory system allows you to easily change your bag's configuration. Here's our full line of interchangeable velcro accessories, and we're steadily working on more.

The front and back of the bag feature a satin finish black screen print that stands out beatifullly on the black matte Cordura® brand nylon classic “backpack” fabric, used for durable packs and messenger bags for over thirty years.

The Cordura® fabric is woven in the United States, is extremely durable, machine washable and should last you a lifetime.

I just got my bag today at the 99% conference and It is so cool! I use a 13 inch MacBook air and an iPad and both fit comfortably plus room for a notebook and other miscellaneous everyday needs. I actually went to the Crumpler store on my way to the conference and they were closed. Lucky me. This is my new favorite bag and Rickshaw my new favorite bag company. Our firm is looking for a place to get custom bags for employees and I'm going to recommend Rickshaw.

Received this bag at the 99% Conference. Hands-down, this bag is awesome. Extremely well built, awesome graphic, and perfect for a quick commute or as a daily work bag -- which it is now for me.

I use this bag as an additional bag that I carry to work to carry my work laptop and a small sketchbook. It's so practical and very lightweight as well. So worth the wait!

I love this bag! It fits my 17 inch laptop really well. The only thing I would comment is that it would be nice if the long straps were anchored one on each side or on the ends rather than both on the one side.

I have been using this and a sleeve for my laptop for a few weeks and I have been more than satisfied with the appearance and usefulness of this bag. On the occasions where I do have something else to carry it is able to comply, but never feels bulky or too much.

For my daily commute this is the perfect combination.
